WCA Proposed Rule Changes
The WCA will be implementing amendments to Parts 1, 2, 4, 7, and 12 of its rules, effective November 7, 2025. Redlined versions of the proposed changes are available below for reference. Please note that Part 2 is being repealed and replaced in its entirety, so no red-lined version is provided for that section.
The Workers’ Compensation Administration will conduct an in-person public hearing on the adoption of the proposed rules on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at 2410 Centre Avenue SE., Albuquerque, NM 87106.
The public is invited to submit written comments to the WCA Office of General Counsel at gc.clerk@wca.nm.gov. The comment period will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on August 21, 2025.
All proposed rules will take effect November 7, 2025.
